Multicultural Adventures Field Trip
The LWVWI Multicultural Adventures Committee invites you to a field trip touring our State Capital and Madison Museum of Contemporary Art.
We will meet at the information desk on the ground floor of the Capitol Rotunda at 10 AM for a 50 minute guided tour. The Christmas tree will be up and the Capitol decked in holiday style. We encourage you to mix and mingle with League members from across our State League as you go off to lunch on your own. We will reconvene at 1:00 PM to take guided tours of Faisal Abdu’Allah: Dark Matter and Wendy Red Star: Apsáalooke: Children of the Large-Beaked Bird at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art. Admission for both tours is free!
You may invite non-League members. Due to capacity restrictions, this event will be capped at 80 participants. There are many places to sit throughout the 2-hour exhibit tours at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art. Please allow plenty of time to park your vehicle at both places. There will not be an inclement weather date. We look forward to adventuring together!
